Tempua Nest

Tempua is a small tropical bird. They are also called the weaver bird or finch. They eat mainly grass seeds.

They are a social bird that lives in colonies and they often fly together and eat together.

During the mating season, the male bird first builds a nest. When the nest is almost complete, they will call the female to inspect and approve the nest. It appears that the female then completes the nest if it passes her inspection.
